Please read carefully before making your selection :

If your child is U11 and older and wishes to try out for a REP team (whether Regional or Bucks), you will need to click on and add the tryout fee of $120.00.

If your child does not make a REP team, then the difference between the recreation registration fee and the rep registration fee will be reimbursed (not the $120 tryout fee which is Non-Refundable).

If your child is trying out for the REGIONAL U15 or U18 Program, you still need to register with CMHA (or their home association), and pay the tryout fee and competitive registration fee. This ensures that, should your child not make the regional team, they can still try out for the Bucks teams.

If you want your child to be considered for a B team or a development team, they still must participate in tryouts, but you can declare for a B team only.

Please note that we also expect to have a U15 and U18 Tier 4 teams this year, as long as the registration numbers are sufficient enough to allow it. We will also be considering adding a U13 Tier 4 team, though that will be decided over the summer as we can evaluate the registration numbers. ****If you want your child to be considered for a tier 4 team, you must sign up for tryouts and pay the tryout fee by May 31, 2024.

Once the final evaluations have been made and if they will be participating on a CMHA team, then we will commence the transfer and will collect the full registration fee at that time.

IMPORTANT: Please note that TRYOUT REGISTRATION MUST BE SUBMITTED BY MAY 31st, 2024.

Anyone that wishes to register after May 31, 2024 will be required to pay a $250.00 penalty, in addition to the $120 tryout fee and competative registration fee. There will be no exceptions

FOR RECREATION/HOUSE HOCKEY

There are no summer deadlines to register for recreational hockey, but please do know that the earlier you register the better so that we can plan the season and the amount of teams and ice times. New this year, no further recreational registrations will be allowed after December 1st.

We do offer a payment plan upon checkout, and the earlier you sign up the longer you can break your payments up. All fees must be paid by Nov 30th, and as mentioned above, no further recreational registrations will be allowed after December 1st.

If you have any questions about the tryout process or what to register for, please don't hesitate to reach out to ask. We realize that there are lots of new parents to the rep program every year and that it can be confusing.

Also - Coach applications can be found on our website. Please email them to cmhacoach20@gmail.com if you wish to submit an application.
Rep Coach Applications must be in by April 30th

Step One: Obtaining your player(s) Hockey Canada Registration # (HCR#)

*If you are registering a player that has played with CMHA before.... their information will be saved on TeamSnap registration.

**If this is your child's first year in hockey anywhere (they have never played in any association before) .......they won't have a HCR#, please email the registrar at cranbrookminorhockey@gmail.com. Include your child's full name, and date of birth, as well as the parents address, phone number and email address.

***If you are registering a child that has played before but not with CMHA... they will alreayd have a HCR # but it won't be saved in TeamSnap so you'll need to look it up. This can be found through their (or yours if you are a coach) Hockey Canada profile (formerly "e-hockey profile") If you do not already have an account with Hockey Canada you will need to create one and then add each player individually.

To obtain HCR # for players who already have one, click on the link and follow the steps below. (as noted above they should be saved on the TeamSnap registration so you likely won't need to look this up unless they only been registered elsewhere and have never registered with CMHA)
