Female Hockey Registration for 2026-2027 Season
We are excited to announce that for the upcoing season for Females in U13 and U15 that a Female Avs Pilot Program has been approved for both age groups at the CMHA board level and is pending EK approval to change the name from Bucks to Avs. This would be open to all U13/U15 Females in the East Kootenays.
There would be a try-out in Cranbrook much like the other Bucks/Avs teams and the teams would play in the Rocky Mountain Female League at a level that would be determined by tiering in the fall.
Although Cranbrook Female teams have always welcomed girls from other associations, the hope is that a Regional rebranding will draw more numbers and start a new female pathway for those interested and the ability for families to choose what is the right fit.
CMHA is waiting on expected approval from EK and BC Hockey to roll out details, logo, jerseys etc...In the meantime here is the information you will need to register:
